Architecpolics

The project was part of an exhibition in Dronninglund. The exhibition was showing the works of architects that work in niche areas of architecture. It could be related to visual arts, installation, text, etc.

Architecpolics dives into a series of political events being focal points in a given period. The idea was to mask the events in a series of representations that would consist of a cabinet, a tableau, and a few isometrical-like drawings. One of the political impact points was the Russian annexation of Crimea. This specific event was manifested in one of the drawings showing an expanding center - symbolizing the Kremlin and the propaganda of the Russian regime.

Cabinet

The cabinet housed four different symbolic settings related to other political events, which had a degree of similarity. The four settings were respected individually, but the option of connectivity was always present. The closing of the cabinet would symbolize this along the centered top circular hole that showed the point of connection (in plan view).

Tableau

The installation was a way of introducing the (ever-present) capitalistic politics, which quite often seems to limit the importance of biodiversity and nature in general.

The tableau consisted of four build-together elements that signaled the captivity of the capitalist lifestyle
